This was an attempt at digital painting using some techniques from a tutorial I saw.
the drowning woman who is being suffocated by the desperate tentacles illustrates the difficulty with possessive relationships. The octopus doesn't want to lose what it thinks it is entitled to, and the recipient just wants to breathe again and be set free. Once she is free, the sight of a single creeping tentacle sends her in the opposite direction.

Wow, this is nuts! I appreciate the story too... the fact that there are mushrooms growing too signifies that the octopus has held his grip for a long time. Very beautiful & dark :rose:
